Copa Di Vino: Enjoying Wine On the Go Has Never Been More Convenient

With the days shorter as winter approaches, I’ve found less time in the day to catch the sunset. Living across the street from the beach gives me a front row seat to the nightly show. In Newport Beach, it sets at 4:30 right now! I finally made time to get out there this week, and decided to treat myself with a yummy glass of Chardonnay from Copa di Vino

I love wine. It’s a slow pleasure. It’s not something you gulp back. Sitting on the beach by myself and watching the sunset with a glass of wine had me feeling very in the moment, which is something that can be hard to do with so much going on in the world, and lots to look forward to, or deal with.

Copa di Vino is a single serve concept that allows you to enjoy wine on the go, without lugging around a whole wine bottle, or dealing with a corkscrew. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten to the beach to enjoy the sun, sand, and some vino only to realize I forgot a wine opener, or even a cup to drink out of!

Copa di Vino features a unique design that allows you to keep your wine from spilling with the splash proof cap. What I especially love about the design is that you can cap it to enjoy later, or to keep safe (like from the pesky sand!) when you place it down between sips or in your back between adventures.

The single serve cup features an ergonomic design that feels like a wine glass with its hourglass shape. This is especially important to me for two reasons: 1. I have butter fingers, so spilling is kind of in my blood. 2. Wine just doesn’t taste the same when it’s not in a vessel designed for wine!

There are seven, portable varieties to choose from, including: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Riesling, Moscato, and Pinot Grigio.

The concept is the brainchild of James Martin, who wanted to produce an option for enjoying the premium wines from his family winery in Oregon on the go without the need for bottles, corkscrews, or glass. Years in the making, and after several appearances on “Shark Tank,” Copa di Vino has become the world’s leading producer of single-serve premium wine, with each glass and cap fully recyclable.

The concept proved convenient for me from the first time I tried it, having to rush out the door with mere minutes to catch the sunset. I grabbed a blanket and a glass of wine without having to think about any other preparations. I hurried across the street, and was able to plop down in seconds, slip off the cap of my Copa di Vino wine, and toast to the good life.
